Before starting the programme I felt like I knew nothing about pregnancy, giving birth and postpartum and that was a very vulnerable and disempowering place to be. Also, overwhelming.

Since completing the programme, my confidence has grown a lot, I am much more aware and certain of things I want and I don't want on this journey. 

My husband went from "Are you crazy planning a home birth?" to "this is the best decision you could have made for you and the baby". 

I now feel supported and more grounded, confident, empowered and excited.

I am setting healthier boundaries, being more gentle and forgiving with myself, feeling more prepared and educated to make informed decisions. 

Hayley - Freebirth

I did Saima's course pre conception - I was initially unsure about joining when not pregnant, but Saima reassured me and suggested that being informed and prepared pre-conception is actually a really good idea. She was 100% right

After completing Saima's course my mindset totally changed. Within 4 months I had conceived and am currently embracing the wild pregnancy I dreamt of for so long. 

I am embracing the physiology of being a woman and accepting myself for who I am, instead of trying to keep up with the fast-paced world which I did previously. 

I feel amazing in this pregnancy, planning to birth outside of the medical system and feel empowered in my choices - all thanks to Saima's course and ongoing support. 

Samantha - Freebirth

When I joined the course, I felt some fear around the unknown and what birth would look and feel like for me. I also felt a bit conflicted about what I 'should' do in terms of, do I have a midwife, do I go to my appointments?

Whilst completing the course I grew my confidence that I don't need to do any of that, or anything that doesn’t feel right for me; don't need to do take part in it, and that my body is a sovereign being, and only I know what's best for me, no one else. 

Saima is so passionate and knowledgable about her work which is clear from the course, and I loved that. 

Now I feel more at ease and trust my body to lead the way in the birth process, and also acknowledge all that arises for me throughout the journey and give it space to be felt.  

Casey - Freebirth

Since the course ended, I’ve trusted my body and baby 10000%. 

I haven’t stepped into western care, I haven’t questioned my body or baby on tweaks and movements and decisions. 

I’ve been able to really fine tune my bodily communication and give myself what I need, what I need it. As a first time mama I am very proud of my journey thus far. And that fuels me to finish strong as I do final preparations for my birth.

After completing the programme, I now have Big MAMA BEAR vibes, feel confident, a lecture about birth and the system falls out my mouth anytime someone asks a simple question about my pregnancy!!!  

READY to have big conversations and READY to move away as soon as my body says no to continuing NHS support.

Jess P - Homebirth

Before the course I felt overwhelmed to becoming a mother and where to search for all the information - the right information, without going down rabbit holes. I was unsure whether to have a home birth / water birth in the birth centre. 

Since completing the programme, I am informed, I know my rights, booked my Doula, I feel in charge and confident in planning my birth at home.
